[Goldman Sachs raises TSMC’s target price, optimistic about strong AI-driven growth] On October 6, Goldman Sachs raised TSMC’s target price and capital expenditure forecast due to the continued expansion of AI demand in the fields of GPUs, network chips and server CPUs. Analyst Evelyn Yu pointed out that "stronger CPU demand driven by agent AI (Agentic AI) is a key change over the past year." Goldman Sachs predicts that TSMC's revenue will increase by 42.0%/36.9% year-on-year (in US dollars) in 2026/2027, with gross profit margins of 67.2%/67.5% respectively; at the same time, it will increase its capital expenditure forecast in 2027/2028 from US$78 billion/82 billion to US$85 billion/98 billion to support long-term customer demand. Maintain a "buy" rating and raise the target price from NT$3,100 to NT$3,300.
