[SoftBank-backed DayOne Data Center plans to raise up to $5 billion in a U.S. IPO] On October 6, according to people familiar with the matter, SoftBank-backed DayOne Data Center plans to raise up to $5 billion in a U.S. initial public offering (IPO). DayOne plans to list American depositary shares (ADS) on Nasdaq by the end of this year at the latest. The company filed its IPO prospectus with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday. According to the company's filings with the SEC, DayOne is headquartered in Singapore. Its revenue in the first half of this year more than tripled year-on-year to US$512 million; its net loss expanded from US$13.5 million to US$81.9 million during the same period.
