[Houthi armed forces said they attacked Saudi Abha Airport and other targets] October 6th, Yemen’s Houthi armed forces issued a statement on October 6, local time, saying that they launched ballistic missiles at Saudi Abha International Airport and used multiple ballistic missiles to attack the Dajalil military camp in Jizan Province, Saudi Arabia. The Houthi armed forces claimed that the missile attack on Abha International Airport achieved a "direct hit", causing air transportation activities at the airport to be affected. The Houthi armed forces also claimed that the attack on the Dajalil military camp resulted in dozens of casualties. The Houthis also warned foreign airlines that Saudi airspace has become their military operation area and asked airlines to stop operating flights to Saudi Arabia, except over Mecca and Medina.
