[Haiti extends the registration period for the presidential election and postpones the campaign period] On October 6, Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Commission signed an announcement on the 5th, announcing that it would extend the registration period for candidates for the presidential election and legislative body election to October 31. The first round of the campaign originally scheduled to start on October 5 has been postponed, and the new start and end dates will be announced separately.
