[Japan’s foreign exchange reserves have declined for five consecutive months] On October 7, data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance showed that as of the end of September this year, Japan’s foreign exchange reserves were approximately US$1.18 trillion, a decrease of US$29.128 billion from the end of August, marking the fifth consecutive month of decline.
