[The average daily charging volume of new energy vehicles on expressways during the National Day holiday increased by 51.42% year-on-year] October 8th, as the number of new energy vehicles continues to grow, and the proportion of green travel among people during holidays continues to increase, the National Energy Administration has guided all localities to refine and improve charging guarantee plans in advance, organize relevant parties to use information platforms to strengthen monitoring, and do emergency dispatching to effectively ensure the charging demand for large-scale travel of new energy vehicles during this year’s National Day. Through statistical analysis of 62,700 highway charging facilities (guns) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, from 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7, China's highway new energy vehicles were charged a total of 6.711 million times, with a charging capacity of 163 million kilowatt hours, and an average daily charging capacity of 23.2566 million kilowatt hours. The average daily charging capacity increased by 51.42% year-on-year.
