[Guangdong: By 2030, the province's bamboo forest area will stabilize at more than 8 million acres, and the total output value of the bamboo industry will reach 50 billion yuan] October 8th, recently, seven departments of the Guangdong Provincial Forestry Bureau, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance, Guangdong Provincial Department of Natural Resources, and Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly issued the "Five-year Action Plan to Accelerate the High-Quality Development of the Bamboo Industry in our Province (2 026-2030)", it is clear that by 2030, the province's bamboo forest area will stabilize at more than 8 million acres, and the total output value of the bamboo industry will reach 50 billion yuan. It will deploy 15 key tasks from four aspects: expanding bamboo resource cultivation, strengthening bamboo processing, improving bamboo services, and developing new bamboo business formats, accelerating the construction of Guangdong's modern bamboo industry system that integrates the three industries, advanced technology, orderly competition, green and low carbon, and assists "millions of projects" and comprehensive rural revitalization.
