[End of 10-month deployment, USS Lincoln returns to homeport in San Diego] On October 9th, the USS Lincoln aircraft carrier ended its 10-month deployment and has now returned to its homeport in San Diego, California. The Lincoln left its home port of San Diego in November last year and was transferred to the Middle East in January this year to participate in the US military operations and naval blockade against Iran. During the deployment, except for brief supply stops in Guam and Oman, the Lincoln continued to be on combat duty at sea most of the time.
