[Albemarle Chile Atacama Salt Lake Union voted to hold a strike] On August 31, the Albemarle (Albemarle) Chilean union held a strike vote on collective bargaining. All 478 voting employees participated, of which 466 votes were in favor of the strike, accounting for 97.49%. According to the current procedures, if the labor and management parties do not apply for compulsory mediation, the strike will begin at 8:00 on September 2 at the earliest; if compulsory mediation is initiated, the strike will be postponed for at least 5 working days. The union has about 520 members, covering La Negra lithium salt processing plant, Atacama Salt Lake, etc. Most of the employees are from La Negra.
