[Japan's Mihama Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 Reactor Restarts] On October 10th, Japan's Kansai Electric Power Company started the reactor of the Mihama Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 in Fukui Prefecture on the 10th. It entered the adjustment operation stage on the same day and plans to resume commercial operation on November 4. During the operation of the unit on May 8 this year, a hole appeared in the cover of the high-pressure turbine, causing steam to leak, and the reactor was manually shut down. Subsequently, regular inspections were moved forward to June. However, on September 17, during the adjustment operation to resume commercial operation, staff discovered that the pipeline was leaking, and the unit was manually shut down again the next day.
