["National Action Plan for Disability Prevention (2026-2030)" issued] On October 10, with the approval of the State Council, the State Council Disability Work Committee recently issued the "National Action Plan for Disability Prevention (2026-2030)", which clarified the guiding ideology, main indicators, main actions, special projects and organizational implementation of China's disability prevention work during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The action plan specifies 18 major indicators, 6 major actions and 19 task measures; it is proposed that by 2030, the disability prevention policy system and prevention and control network will be more complete, the awareness of disability prevention in the whole society will be significantly enhanced, the main factors causing disability in key areas will be effectively controlled, and the comprehensive prevention and control capabilities of disability risks will be further improved, providing solid support for the construction of a healthy China, high-quality population development and the comprehensive development of the cause of persons with disabilities.
