The report shows that in the third quarter of 2026, China's shipping prosperity index was 122.26 points, a decrease of 3.97 points from the previous quarter, maintaining a relatively prosperous range; China's shipping confidence index was 158.27 points, an increase of 9.62 points from the previous quarter, rising to a relatively strong prosperity range, and the operating conditions of shipping companies are still improving. Looking forward to the future, Zhou Dequan, director of the China Shipping Prosperity Index Compilation Office, told a Securities Times reporter that China's shipping prosperity index is expected to be 119.5 points in the fourth quarter of 2026, a decrease of 2.76 points from the third quarter and falling to a relative prosperity range; the overall development trend of the shipping market in the fourth quarter is expected to remain stable.
