[Wantai Bio: Freeze-dried recombinant respiratory syncytial virus vaccine approved for clinical trials] On October 12, Wantai Bio (603392.SH) announced that the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Wantai Canghai received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" for the freeze-dried recombinant respiratory syncytial virus vaccine (CHO cells) approved and issued by the State Food and Drug Administration, and agreed to conduct clinical trials to prevent lower respiratory tract diseases caused by RSV infection in people aged 60 and above. The vaccine is an adjuvant-free freeze-dried preparation. Preclinical data shows good safety, but the development and marketing cycle is long and there are uncertainties.
