[Dow launches VOLTRICELL battery material platform for next-generation battery technology] On October 12, Dow announced the launch of VOLTRICELL battery material platform, which aims to optimize the battery manufacturing process and improve battery performance. It is suitable for existing batteries as well as emerging technologies such as sodium-ion batteries, silicon anode batteries, and solid-state batteries. The platform integrates binders, dispersants, rheology modifiers, surfactants and specialty additives, covering applications such as electrodes, separators, coatings and cell packaging. Dow said this is the company's first materials platform specifically designed to support the electrochemical performance inside the cell. In addition, the company will also display related materials for battery fire protection at the 2026 North American Battery Show.
