[Trafigura signs a 10-year lithium product offtake agreement with U.S. company Energy Under the agreement, Trafigura will purchase lithium carbonate produced by EnergyX’s Black Giant project in Antofagasta, Chile, and lithium hydroxide produced by the Lonestar project in Texas, the United States. Trafigura will acquire 66% of the first phase production of the Black Giant project and 30% of the first phase production of the Lonestar project. EnergyX plans to achieve commercial-scale production at the Black Giant project in 2028 and the Lonestar project in 2029.
