[Russian Deputy Prime Minister: Russia and the United States have begun negotiations on diesel supply transactions] On October 13, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak stated that Russian and American companies have begun negotiations on diesel supply transactions. Novak also revealed that in the first nine months of 2026, Russia supplied energy products worth US$21.3 billion to Europe. Novak said that Russia may supply 3.5 million tons of diesel to the global market per month in the future, returning to previous levels. He said that Russia's increase in diesel supply will help partially balance supply and demand in the global market. Novak reiterated that Russia's domestic diesel market will not be affected by the resumption of exports.
