[JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs reduce exposure to $5 billion loan deal for AI cloud startup Volta] October 13 (Xinhua) -- JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs took rare steps to limit their risk exposure when arranging a $5 billion loan deal for AI startup Volta Infrastructure Holdings Ltd. as investors demanded higher yields on risky debt related to the artificial intelligence (AI) boom. The two banks are taking the lead in arranging loan financing for emerging AI cloud company Volta. According to people familiar with the matter, the two banks underwrote US$1.3 billion in term loans for Volta, but did not underwrite the other US$3.7 billion in chip loans, aiming to reduce potential risks.
