It also urged sponsors and other gatekeepers of initial public offerings to continue to strengthen relevant work and beware of opaque arrangements involving initial public offerings and post-listing activities. These arrangements may generate questionable subscription orders, artificially inflate demand for shares in an IPO, or facilitate potentially manipulative post-IPO trading activity.
