[The proportion of listing applications handled by the five most active sponsors in Hong Kong stocks dropped to 65%] On October 13, the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission pointed out in a circular issued today that the work of sponsors has improved since January this year. Specifically, sponsor jobs have become more widely distributed in the market. The proportion of active listing applications sponsored by the five most active sponsors and in the approval stage as a whole fell from 77% as of January to 65% as of September. At the same time, the average workload of key signatories has eased. Between January and September, the number of sponsors with overburdened key personnel, as well as the number of overburdened key personnel, also fell by 78%. The China Securities Regulatory Commission also reminded that some IPOs still involve suspicious arrangements (such as failure to disclose subscription funds and guaranteed returns), and has urged sponsors and overall coordinators to remain vigilant for warning signs such as major capital transactions before and after listing.
