[An employee was fired by the company for using AI-assisted office work, and the court ruled that the company violated the law] On October 13, the People's Court of Chaoyang District, Beijing concluded a labor dispute case caused by AI-assisted office work, clarifying the boundary between the compliance of AI-assisted office use and violation of confidentiality obligations, and providing important judicial guidance for improving workplace AI application rules and optimizing corporate risk control management. In the workplace, in order to improve work efficiency, employees reasonably use third-party AI tools to handle routine work without subjective malice, no actual risk of leakage, and no losses to the company. This does not constitute a violation of company rules and regulations, and companies are not allowed to terminate labor contracts on this basis.
