Zhu Xuehua, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Maria Cristina RUSSO, Deputy Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, co-chaired the meeting as chairmen of both parties. The meeting reviewed the work progress of both parties in terms of the China-EU Scientific Research and Innovation Flagship Cooperation Plan, inter-agency cooperation, scientific research personnel exchanges, etc., exchanged information on scientific and technological innovation strategies and policies, and discussed and looked forward to the next step of cooperation.
