[‌The judge in the Apple v. OpenAI case said there is a "high probability" that the ruling will be in favor of Apple‌] On October 15th, the presiding judge in the case of Apple suing OpenAI for stealing trade secrets said that he is "extremely likely" to approve Apple's application for an injunction to prohibit former Apple employees currently working at OpenAI from using Apple's proprietary information. The injunction will require OpenAI to immediately stop using the allegedly stolen trade secrets, which Apple accuses OpenAI of using to advance its development of future devices that compete with Apple. OpenAI has denied the accusations, arguing that Apple filed the lawsuit to restrict employees from jumping to competitors. It also accused a former Apple employee of sending confidential documents about unreleased OpenAI devices to his personal account.
