[Apple joins Nvidia and becomes the second listed company with a market value exceeding US$5 trillion.] On October 15th, Apple closed with a market value of US$5 trillion for the first time. This latest performance reflects the market’s optimistic expectations for its new product line, especially the folding screen iPhone. Apple's stock price rose 0.5% that day, closing at $342.96, and its closing market value just exceeded the $5 trillion mark. This is the first time that Apple has achieved a closing market value of US$5 trillion. In July this year, it briefly exceeded this threshold during the session and then fell back. Since its low point in August, Apple's stock price has risen by more than 13%. Apple is the second company in the world to reach this market capitalization milestone after Nvidia.
