In the past ten years, the total assets of Ningbo’s insurance industry have increased from 46.1 billion yuan to 123 billion yuan; premium income has increased from 22.8 billion yuan to 63.6 billion yuan; and the insurance scale has increased from 8.5 trillion yuan to 87.7 trillion yuan. Driven by the support of insurance, the added value of the city's financial industry reached 158.4 billion yuan, accounting for 8.5% of the regional GDP.
