[Step 5 Preview weights are open] On October 15th, according to Step News, the Step 5 Preview weights were officially released today. This time, BF16 and FP8 model weights, technology blogs, and supporting open source development tools will be opened. According to reports, Step 5 Preview is designed for long-range Agent tasks, using a sparse MoE architecture, with a total parameter volume of 600B and only 27B of activation parameters per token. It supports 1 million token context windows and natively supports text and visual input. Currently, model weights have been launched on Hugging Face and ModelScope, and provide adaptation support for a variety of chip platforms and inference frameworks.
