[Shanghai Futures Exchange: The hot-rolled coil futures price has been authorized to the London Metal Exchange The London Metal Exchange will list relevant contract products this month] On October 15, at the 2026 Shanghai Derivatives Market Forum co-organized by the China Financial Futures Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange, Tian Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, said in his speech that the Shanghai Futures Exchange has authorized the hot-rolled coil futures price to the London Metal Exchange. This is the third "Shanghai price" output by the Shanghai Futures Exchange, and the London Metal Exchange will list relevant contract products this month. Cross-border delivery business has also made new progress. According to reports, since August this year, 1,200 tons of No. 20 rubber futures standard warrants have been generated in Thailand and sold through delivery, achieving direct overseas delivery. This marks the extension of China's rubber futures delivery system to the core production areas of Southeast Asia and the "zero breakthrough" in cross-border delivery in China's futures market. "Price influence is a reflection of a country's comprehensive strength in trade, information, finance and other fields." Tian Xiangyang said that improving the level of Shanghai's international financial center requires the exchange to deepen institutional opening and expand cross-border cooperation, so that price discovery and risk management functions can benefit a wider range of industrial enterprises around the world. At the same time, the exchange needs to form joint efforts with relevant parties to continuously enhance the visibility, usage and recognition of the "Shanghai Price".
