[Toyota recalls nearly 31,000 hybrid vehicles in the United States due to software issues] October 15th, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported on October 14, local time, that Toyota will recall nearly 31,000 hybrid vehicles in the United States because a software issue may cause the hybrid systems of these vehicles to shut down when trying to increase speed. The recall involves 2026 Rav4 plug-in hybrid vehicles produced between July 22, 2025 and August 19, 2026.
