[China's first full-chain green low-carbon ethylene project is fully put into commercial operation] October 15th, China Petroleum learned that China's first full-chain green low-carbon ethylene project - Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim 1.2 million tons ethylene project was fully put into commercial operation today (October 15). Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim 1.2 million tons of ethylene project is located in Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Xinjiang and is a national-level green and low-carbon demonstration project. The project builds a full-chain low-carbon technology closed loop of "green electricity direct connection + carbon capture + blue hydrogen + blue ammonia + green fertilizer". It can consume 1 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity every year and can produce 900,000 tons of full-density polyethylene annually. The total production capacity of rubber and plastic products reaches 1.45 million tons, filling the gap in the high-end polyolefin and synthetic rubber new material industries in southern Xinjiang.
