[Methanol rose over 3% in overnight trading] On August 31, the main domestic futures contracts had mixed gains and losses. Paraxylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and methanol rose by more than 3%, and the average monthly price of ethylene glycol (EG), bottle flakes, asphalt, and plastics rose by nearly 3%. In terms of decline, coke, coking coal, rapeseed oil, and beans fell by more than 1%, while rapeseed meal, iron ore, rebar, and hot coils fell by nearly 1%.
