[Bilame Diop is sworn in as the new Chairman of the ECOWAS Commission] September 1st, Senegal’s former Minister of Armed Forces Biramé Diop was sworn in as the new Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, on August 31, local time.
