[HKEX: Target to transition to T+1 settlement in the second half of 2028] On October 16, the Hong Kong Exchange published a consultation summary document (Consultation Summary) on shortening the settlement cycle of Hong Kong stock spot markets, showing that the market broadly supports the implementation of a T+1 settlement cycle in the Hong Kong securities market. After considering the opinions of stakeholders, HKEX plans to complete the relevant transition in the second half of 2028, subject to market readiness and regulatory approval.
