[Yemen Houthi Armed Forces Release 159 Detainees] October 17th: The International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed on October 17 that the Houthi Armed Forces in Yemen released 159 people detained due to the conflict in Yemen that day. The International Committee of the Red Cross said it was not involved in deciding who or how many people should be released. The ICRC remains ready to act as a neutral intermediary, upon request, to assist or support the future release, transfer and repatriation of detainees related to the conflict in Yemen. (CCTV News)
