[Blue Origin aims to achieve multiple New Glenn launches per week by 2030] October 17th, Blue Origin plans to increase the launch frequency of its New Glenn heavy-lift rocket to multiple times per week by 2030, setting ambitious production capacity and operational goals in order to challenge SpaceX’s dominance in the global launch market. The plan calls for significant expansion of manufacturing capabilities, launch infrastructure and operational reliability. Blue Origin has invested more than US$3 billion in its production and rocket integration facilities in Florida, USA, and plans to expand an additional US$330 million to support a more capable version of the New Glenn rocket. Ian Richardson, Blue Origin's senior vice president of operations, outlined the expansion plans in a company blog post on Friday, saying the infrastructure project is critical to improving launch frequency and operational efficiency.
