[Deepseek announces the cost of API web search and crawling: 5 yuan per 1,000 successful requests] On October 18, DeepSeek announced that the DeepSeek API now supports web search and crawling, and is billed based on the number of requests. The unit price is 5 yuan per 1,000 successful requests. The announcement stated that when current users use the DeepSeek API in DeepSeek Harness/Claude Code/Codex, they will already have access to the Search/Fetch interface through server-side tool calls. These Search/Fetch interface calls are currently not billed, and will be charged on a per-time basis starting from 00:00 on November 1.
