[National Bureau of Statistics: GDP in the first three quarters increased by 4.6% year-on-year] On October 19, the National Bureau of Statistics announced the performance of the national economy in the first three quarters of 2026. According to preliminary calculations, the GDP in the first three quarters was 107.1071 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.6% at constant prices. Looking at the quarters, GDP increased by 5.0% year-on-year in the first quarter, 4.3% in the second quarter, and 4.5% in the third quarter. From a quarter-on-quarter perspective, GDP increased by 1.2% in the third quarter.
