[National Bureau of Statistics: Another bumper grain harvest is expected throughout the year] On October 19, Mao Shengyong, deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that this year’s national summer grain and early rice production totaled 179.04 million tons, an increase of 780,000 tons or 0.4% over the previous year.
