[Hyundai Motor’s labor and management finally reached a salary agreement, including salary increases, performance bonuses and new employees] On September 1, Hyundai Motor’s union announced that 39,600 members of all members voted on the preliminary agreement on this year’s salary negotiations. A total of 31,200 people participated in the vote (voting rate reached 78.63%), of which 19,200 voted in favor, and the agreement was passed with a approval rate of 61.55%. The main contents of the agreement include: increasing the basic monthly salary by 100,000 won (approximately RMB 490); issuing a performance bonus equivalent to 400% of the monthly salary, and paying an additional 12.7 million won; employees will receive 15 shares of company stock, welfare points worth 500,000 won, and an increase in summer vacation subsidies by 200,000 won and other benefits. The employer also agreed to recruit 500 new production employees from the second half of 2027 to 2028.
