[The Israeli Prime Minister said he would join forces with Trump to eliminate the Iranian threat] October 19th, US President Trump publicly expressed support for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s re-election on October 18th. Netanyahu later gave a speech, thanking Trump for his support and saying that he would continue to cooperate with Trump to "completely eliminate the threat from Iran." Israel’s Minister of National Security and leader of the far-right Jewish Power Party, Ben Gvir, also expressed his gratitude to Trump, saying that Trump expressed “support for the Israeli right wing.” But he also expressed dissatisfaction with Netanyahu. Ben Gvir said he was shocked when Netanyahu told the media that "Ben Gvir will not serve as defense minister in the next government and will not continue to be in charge of police affairs". Ben-Gevir said Netanyahu needs a strong right-wing coalition, not a weak centrist government. (CCTV International News)
