On October 19th, economists from the National Australia Bank stated that the Reserve Bank of Australia is likely to raise its unemployment rate forecast in the November monetary policy update. The total number of unemployed people in Australia is still at a low level, and leading employment indicators such as job advertisements and job vacancies are basically flat.
