[The National Energy Administration further improves the credit evaluation system of the national unified electricity market] On October 19th, the General Affairs Department of the National Energy Administration recently publicly solicited opinions on the "Guidelines for the Credit Evaluation of the National Unified Electricity Market (Draft for Comment)". The "Draft for Comments" clarifies that for those whose credit evaluation is "A", power trading institutions can provide convenient services when handling business such as market registration information changes, or in terms of agency power scale, business province push, continuous verification method and frequency of meeting registration conditions, and acceptance of shortfalls. In accordance with regulations, appropriately reduce the amount of performance guarantee certificates, expand the form of performance guarantees, give priority to guaranteed power sales companies, evaluate first, and give priority to recommendations and other incentives. For those whose credit evaluation is "B", business will be handled as usual and no incentive measures will be implemented. For those with credit evaluations of "C" and "D", power trading institutions should pay special attention to them and take credit constraint measures such as restricting the provision of credit commitments, green channels, shortfall acceptance and other convenient services, and increasing the frequency of verification of registration conditions.
