[Sichuan Province’s GDP increased by 4.9% in the first three quarters] On October 20, the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics announced the economic performance of Sichuan Province in the first three quarters of 2026. According to the unified accounting results of regional GDP, Sichuan's GDP in the first three quarters of 2026 was 5.212145 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.9% at constant prices. In terms of industries, the added value of the primary industry was 405.334 billion yuan, an increase of 3.7%; the added value of the secondary industry was 1,791.626 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 3,015.186 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8%.
