[National data annotation pilot Jiangsu and Anhui Cities Alliance was established] October 20th, it was announced at the 2026 Physical AI and World Model Conference held today that the national data annotation pilot Jiangsu and Anhui Cities Alliance was established in Nanjing, Jiangsu. 10 cities in the Yangtze River Delta will coordinate the development of the data annotation industry to provide important support for regional artificial intelligence innovation. Data annotation is the foundation of the artificial intelligence industry. In layman's terms, it means classifying and annotating various types of graphics, text, scenes and other data, so that artificial intelligence can read, identify, and learn the laws of real scenes, and accelerate the iterative optimization and implementation of large models. This time, 10 cities in the Yangtze River Delta, including Nanjing, Jiangsu, and Wuhu, Anhui, jointly established a data annotation joint innovation center, which will effectively solve the long-standing pain points of the industry such as dispersed industrial resources, different standards, and insufficient regional coordination.
