[ABB plans to acquire a 51% stake in Mitsubishi Electric's low-voltage power distribution business for US$495 million] "Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily" reported on the 20th that Swiss industrial technology company ABB announced the establishment of a joint venture with Mitsubishi Electric. It plans to acquire 51% of the new company's equity for approximately US$495 million and fully acquire the sales business of Mitsubishi Electric's related low-voltage power distribution products outside Japan. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.
