[Ascentage Pharma: Risental received breakthrough therapy designation for the treatment of newly diagnosed chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma] On October 21, Ascentage Pharma announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that the company’s original Class 1 new drug Bcl-2 inhibitor Risental® (generic name: Risentocla, R&D code : APG-2575) has been included in the "Breakthrough Therapy" list by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for use in combination with acotinib to treat adult patients with previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).
