[Singaporean data center operator DayOne is reported to be re-evaluating its U.S. IPO plan] On October 21, people familiar with the matter said that as the data center sector becomes more volatile, DayOne Data Centers is re-evaluating its U.S. IPO plan and may postpone the listing or reduce the size of the issuance. People familiar with the matter said that Singapore-based DayOne has been waiting for the right time to launch an IPO and is also considering delaying the issuance until the market stabilizes. Other options include reducing the size of the offering to raise $2.5 billion to $3 billion, about half of the original target. People familiar with the matter said DayOne is still in contact with potential investors and hopes to move forward with the listing as soon as market conditions allow. It was previously reported that the company was initially considering raising up to $5 billion through an IPO as soon as the fourth quarter, with a target valuation of about $20 billion. People familiar with the matter said that discussions are still ongoing and DayOne has not yet made a final decision. The company may still choose to advance the IPO in the coming weeks. DayOne declined to comment.
