[Israeli Army Begins Voting for Knesset Elections] October 21st: The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement today (October 21) saying that the Israeli army has started voting for the Israeli Knesset elections that day. In order to ensure that officers and soldiers stationed in remote areas and on the front lines of cross-border operations can exercise their right to vote, the military started the election process about a week before the national polling day. The Israeli army issued a statement stating that a total of about 850 polling stations were deployed inside and outside Israel this time. These polling stations belonging to the military will remain open until the official end of national voting on October 27. It is reported that in order to facilitate active and reserve personnel in remote and hard-to-reach areas to participate in voting, about 25% of the polling stations set up by the Israeli army are mobile stations. The deployment scope of these mobile sites covers 40 outposts set up by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, multiple army positions in Lebanon, and 9 outposts in Syria. According to reports, the mobile polling stations will rotate among the units according to a predetermined schedule. To ensure election security, each mobile site will be accompanied by a loaded officer, and ballot boxes will remain strictly locked during transportation between sites. (CCTV International News)
