[Shanghai: The city’s fixed asset investment increased by 4.3% year-on-year in the first three quarters] On October 22, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Statistics released data. In the first three quarters, the city’s fixed asset investment increased by 4.3% year-on-year. In terms of sectors, industrial investment increased by 21.9% year-on-year, 17.6 percentage points faster than the city's fixed asset investment growth rate; urban infrastructure investment increased by 23.3%. Investment in high-tech industries increased by 30.6% year-on-year. In the first three quarters, the sales area of newly built commercial buildings was 11.799 million square meters, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%.
