[Six departments issued opinions to promote the renovation and upgrading of old block factories] On October 23, six departments including the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Renovation and Upgrading of Old Block Factories", which clarified the key points for the renovation and upgrading of various old block factories. According to the requirements, all localities must combine the results of urban physical examinations to target neighborhood factories with aging housing and municipal infrastructure, shortages of public services and public spaces, and functional industries and development vitality that need to be improved, and coordinate and determine the scope and implementation timing of the renovation and improvement. At the same time, an implementation plan for the renovation and upgrading of old neighborhood factories was formulated, and urban design requirements were incorporated into the project implementation plan to guide the high-quality renovation and upgrading of neighborhood factories.
