Xi Jinping emphasized that China, as a responsible major country, actively advocates an equal and orderly multipolar world. Sovereignty, equality and mutual respect are fundamental principles. Balance, order, and compliance with the rule of law are inevitable requirements. Multilateralism, dialogue and consultation are the key paths, and mutual benefit, win-win, and inclusiveness are the direction of development. We must insist that all countries, big or small, strong or weak, rich or poor, should have equal rights, equal opportunities, and equal rules. Countries in the Global South are an important part of the multi-polar structure and a key force in promoting multi-polarity. They should enhance their representation and voice in international affairs. It is necessary to carry forward the common values ​​of all mankind, abandon double standards, exceptionalism, interference and bullying, and the law of the jungle, and promote the rule of law in international relations. Major countries, in particular, must take the lead in abiding by rules, adhering to the rule of law, and cooperating to deal with global problems. We must adhere to the principle that affairs in the world are handled by all countries through consultation, and international rules are jointly formulated by all countries. Xi Jinping pointed out that after 25 years of development, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has successfully set a model for relations between major countries, between neighboring countries, and between large and small countries, and has successfully brought together the development synergy of nearly half of the world's population and a quarter of the world's economic volume. A more united and dynamic Shanghai Cooperation Organization is fully capable of making greater contributions to promoting world multipolarity.
