[Will future vehicles be forced to install C-V2X? People familiar with the matter said that "relevant departments have started the formulation of strong standards."] On October 26, "Relevant departments are already promoting the formulation of strong standards for C-V2X (Cellular Internet of Vehicles) installed on vehicles. Relevant working groups have been established, and dozens of units have already participated." A few days ago, an anonymous practitioner in the C-V2X field disclosed the above information to reporters. It is understood that operating vehicles have been the first to be required to install C-V2X. In July this year, the General Office of the Ministry of Transport released a draft of the national standard "Technical and Management Requirements for Operation Safety of Commercial Vehicles" (Plan Number: 20254333-Q-348) undertaken by the Highway Science Institute of the Ministry of Transport. According to the previously clearly defined implementation timetable, 25 months after the standard is implemented, all newly operating passenger cars, trucks, and traction trains in the country must be equipped with LTE-V2X direct-connected on-board interactive terminals. This also means that C-V2X terminals require front-loading mass production in the form of mandatory national standards for the first time. (every sutra)
